Who being upon Oath Severally say and first
the said Joseph Terry< no role >
for himself says that on
Friday Night last a Black Ox and a black Spay'd
Heifer Marked Tow the near Rump and Box
the off Rump the property of this Informant were
feloniously stolen in a Field belonging to this
Informant at Clapham
as he verily believes by a
Person now Present who calls himself William
Watson< no role >
that on Saturday he came to Town in search
of said Beasts and in the course of his enginies
called at the House of John Monday< no role >

where he saw said Monday's Wife about
four o' Clock in the afternoon to whom he mentioned the
exact description of the beast he had lost and asked
her if she had seen suck or whether any suck had
been killed there who replied she had not seen
suck Beats nor had any such been Killed there

to whom he put said
questions and described him the Beasts
who replied that no such Beasts had been killed
