These are to Certify that at the Delivery of the Kings Gaol of
Newgate holden for the County of Middlesex at Justice Hall in the old
Bailey in the Suburbs of the city of London on Wednesday the twenty third
day of July in the twenty third year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord
George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King
Defender of the faith and so forth before Nathaniel Newnham< no role > Esquire Mayer
of the City of London Francis Buller< no role > Esquire one of the Justices of our said Lord
the King [..] singed to hold please before the Kings herself John Weak< no role > Esquire
one of the Justices of our said Lord the King of his Court of Common pleas
Robert Alsop< no role > Esquire one of the Aldermen of the said City of London
Frederick Ball< no role > Esquire one other of the Aldermen of the said City Sir James
[..] knight one other of the Aldermen of the said City James Adair< no role > one of
by Majesty Serjeants at Law Recorder of the said City Richard Clark< no role > Esquire
one other of the Aldermen of the said City John Hart< no role > Esquire one other of the
Aldermen of the said City Thomas Harrison< no role > Esquire and others their follows
Justices of our said Lord the King aforesaid to deliver the said Gaol of
Newgate of the prisoners therein being Samuel Higby< no role > late of the
parish of Harrow in the County of Middlesex Labourer was in due form of
law tried and Convicted on a certain Indictment against him the said
Samuel Higby< no role > for that he on the nineteenth day of May in the twenty
third year aforesaid with force and arms at the parish aforesaid in the County
aforesaid one two wheel Cart of the value of four pounds of the Good and
Chattels of [..] duke Dodsworth then also there being found feloniously
did steal take and carry away against the peace of our said Lord the King
his Crown and Dignity and thereupon the said Samuel Higby< no role > was then
and then ordered and adjudged to be transported to some of His Majesty's
Colonies and plantations in America for the term of Seven years pursuant
to the statutes in such Case made and provided Dated the 20th. day of February
