Saith That on Monday Night last about a
Quarter before Twelve he was sent for to the
deceased - That he went to Mrs Angus's where
he saw the deceased who was lying on the Floor
but a live That upon Examining the Body he
found various Shot Holes on his Face, Neck and
left Breast - That he was Speechless - That
upon Examining his Eyes Informant was throughly
satisfied he was a dead Man - That he Ordered
a been to be opened but without Effect That
he staid till one and then left him dying and was
astonished to hear that he lived till six oClock in
the morning - That upon Opening the Body
this Day he discovered between the Gristly parts
of the first and second and second and Third Ribs
on the Left Side a Number of Shot Holes
That upon removing the whole of the Breast Bore
he discovered a Number of Shot in and about the Heart
and Lungs - That some Shot had also passed
quite through the Heart and ruptured the Blood
vessells on its Back part in so much that a very
large Quantity of Blood was Exhavasated into the
Cavity of the BreastthatAnd Informant
is clearly of Opinion that those Shots which
pass'd through the Heart were the cause of their
Death of the deceased
