Children who told her that his father wanted
her, upon which she went into the Room where
her husband lay, and found that he had
been wounded in several parts of his
head and face and on asking him how it
was done said something had ran over
his face upon which she sent for assistance
and got his wounds dressed and this
Informant further saith that on looking
about the Room where her husband Walter
Houseman lay she found the Iron Barr
now produced standing between the Drawers
and the fire place which was much covered
with Blood and had some hours on it and also
a large Stick now produced laying by the
said Iron Barr and which said Stick this
Informant is positiveshewas in the
possession of the person now present who
calls himself Joseph Richards< no role > two or three
days before her husband received the Wounds
one aforesaid, and this Informant further
saith that she verily believes that the
person who feloniously assaulted the said Walter Horsemen
was secreted in a closset adjoining the Room
in which herlayhusband Clay in which said
Room the Barr was left, and which afterwards
was found in the room of the said Walter
