Who being on Oath say and first James Cosby< no role >
for
Himself says that last Night about six o Clock a Boy non
Present who calls Himself Joseph Scars< no role >
came into this Informant
Shop and asked for a Pennyworth of Persons which the served
Him that the said Joseph Sears< no role >
asked the Price of Amons by the
Ponn and desired this Informant to weigh a Quarter of Pound
that another Boy now present who calls Himself John Allen< no role >
was Standing at the Shop Door with his Hand on a Large Loaf
John Allen< no role >
lifted up the said Loaf of Sugar and Int it down
nearer to the Door that upon this Informant turning Room
the said Leaf of Sugar was taken away that the run out
of his Shop called Stop Thief and found the said John Allen< no role >
and the Leaf of Sugar in the Custody of Esanelfred and
Henry Leach< no role >
and this Informant further says that He
had observed the said Joseph scars< no role >
and John Allen< no role >
lasting
in at his Shop Window a few Minutes before

for Himself says that last Night
about Six o clock being in his Parlour He heard some
Persons in his Passage and somebody call Jack that He
went into the Passage did not see any body that Looking
in the Street He saw the aforesaid Joseph Sears< no role >

Running Last Mr: Cosby's Shop that He returned
into his House, and about five Minutes after was called
out by Mr: Alfred's little Boy to observe the said Joseph
Sears< no role >
and John Allen< no role >
who were Suspected by Mr: Alfred
of an Intention to Rob Mr: Cosbys Shop that this Informant
Law the said John Allen< no role >
take up a Leaf of Sugar which stood
in the said Shop near the Door put it on his Shoulder and
Run away and this Informant further says that he preserved
the said John Allen< no role >
and took him with the Sugar on his Shoul-
-der having never last Sight of Him
