The Informations of George Boustred< no role >
of Hornsey in the County of Middlesex Farmer James
Mc. Manas
< no role > of the Coal yard Drury Lane Victualler
William Friend< no role > of Hanney aforesaid Labourer and
Edward Banks< no role > of Brewington Green Labourer .
taken this 23rd. day of November 1786 .

Who being on Oath severally say, and first the said George
Bourford
< no role > for himself saith, that about Month since he sent [..]
[..] several Sheep to Newington Green to be taken care of that Yesterday
Morning about eight o' Clock he was informed one of the said Sheep
was stolen and was at Islington That he went to Islington where
he saw the said Sheep and found it tobe his PropertyAnd the
said James Mc. Manas for himself saith that as he was on the
Patrole duly on Tuesday Night last with his party he that the
Person now present and calling himself Thomas Brown< no role > and
another person who was leaded with something a PeckThat
he slopt them and demanded what they had got and upon
seizing the said Thomas Brown< no role > he bid his Companion lay down
the Lead adding at the same time, that the Pack and its contents
were their own propertyThat upon Examining the Condents
he Ground it to be a Shop, and that the said Sheep appeared to be just
killed, was quite warne had its Threat cut, and a Lord about its
Neck, and was not skinned Lord the said William Friends< no role > for
himself saith he is Shepherd to said Mr. George Benstred< no role > that he
her seen the said Sheep and is very sure it was his master's
Property, from the Brand he this Informant made on the
Horn of the said Sheep And the said Edward Banks< no role > for
himself saith that for some Years past he had been employed
by Thomas Ludgate< no role > of Newengton Green as a Shepherd to look
after Sheep, that her Master had taken in as Agritments That
her said Master about a Month ago took in several Sheep
belonging to said George Boustred< no role > , That on Tuesday Monring
last he counted the said Sheep and they were all there That on
Wednesday Morning last he recounted there and [..] one
and that in looking about he traced the Blood of a sheep lately
KilledThat he has seen a Sheep now at the House of One
Wyatt.
