The Information of Thomas Wilkins< no role > of Old Cock
Lane Bethnal Green Gardener Elizabeth< no role > the Wife
of Wm. Lawrence< no role > of the same place Scavenger and
Jane Bowsen< no role > of the same place Widow taken this
7th day of February 1785

Who being on their Oaths say And first the said Thomas Wilkins< no role >
for himself saith That on Thursday the Twenty third day of
December last in the afternoon the person now present who says
his Name is Benjamin Munn< no role > came to the House of this
Informant Situate in Old Cock Lane in the Parish of Saint
Matthew Bethnal Green in the said County where his Wife
the Daughter of him this Informant was together with two
Children That he gave them Lodging and Board until
Wednesday the twenty Ninth day of December then next
following That about one Quarter of an hour after Ten o'Clock in the forenoon
of the same day he this Informant together with his said
Daughter the Wife of him the said Benjamin Munn< no role > and
her Infant ChildAged about four Months went
from home to Islington leaving the said Benjamin Munn< no role >
in Charge of his House and to take Care of a Child of his said Daughter about
two Years and on half Old by a former Husband
deceasedThat he this Informant and his said
Daughter returned home about five o'Clock in the
afternoon being sent for by the other Informant Elizabeth
Lawrence
< no role > That on going intohis B [..] the room in his
said House where he Keeps he found the drawers of a Chest in the said
Room broke open and from thence [..] were taken Nine
Guineas Six half Gunieas one Crown and two half
Crown peices out of a Tin Snuff Box, one half Guinea
and to the Value of Seventy Six Shillings in Half Crowns
Shillings and Six pences out of a White Cup, One
pair of Worsted Stockings and one Linen Shirt the
Money and property of him this Informant
Which were in the said Chest when he this
Informant left his House that Morning to go
to Johnston as aforesaid that a pair of Old worsted
Stocking and an Old Linen saint belonging to the prisoner were
[..] in the Room in the said of those taken away
And the said Elizabeth Lawrence< no role > for herself
