This Informant Robert Knight< no role >
Saith That he is by
Trade a Pewterer
and works for Messrs. Townsend and
Compton Pewterers
in Fenchurchstreet London And that on
Saturday Evening the Sixth day of November Instant
there was Feloniously stolen one of the work shop of the [..]
said Messrs. Townsend and Compton, Two Ingots of Pewter
and Two Dozen and ten Pewter Plates, the property of
the said Messrs. Townsend and Compton, And further [..]
Saith That [..] one Dozen and
ten Pewter Plates now Produced by Edmund Wade< no role >
Headborough
is the property of the said Messrs. Townsend
and Compton and is part of the property so Stolen from
them as aforesaid
And this Informant Edmund Wade< no role >
Saith That he is
a Peace Officer And that on Saturday Evening between
seven and Eight O'Clock as he was walking along
Bell Lane
in the Parish of [..] Christ
Church in
the County of Middlesex
, he saw Mary Brigham< no role >
the Prisoner now under Examination sitting on
some steps of a Door in the said Lane, And he asked
her what she had in her lap, to which she made
Answer she had a Child there, but he not being
Satisfied with that Answer, he searched her and
found in her lap One Ingol of< no role >
Pewter
and Twenty
two Pewter Plates which is now produced by him
