Middlesex to wit


The Information of John Aldridge< no role > , Joseph Olton< no role > ,
Thomas Jonth, James Barnes< no role > , William Whirler< no role >
and John Durbridge< no role > taken before me this 10th.
day of October 1783.

Who being on Oath say and first the said John Aldridge< no role > says that
he is the Swner and Driver of the Marlow Waggon That between 9
& 10 o'clock at Night on Wednesday was Siveright, as his Waggon
was travelling between Small bury Green and Hornslow, he felt
a Mans Hand in his Waggon, and on his going to the Tail of his
Waggon, the aforesaid, Joseph Uton< no role > came up with a Natural
post Chaire who told this Informant that he had seen a person
now present who call himself Charles Frime< no role > just behind, with
a Cart overturned in which was Sugar That Informant and
said Olton went back to Huggins the Chaire and Horses at
Small bury Green and in their way, the said Frim met them
in a cart going towards Hornslow: [..] That upon being informed
by Huggins of Frime's over turning his bart, in which was
Sugar, Informant & Huggins's Man get upon the Bar of
the Pet Chaire with Olton, and Pursued said Frime That- they
overtook said Frime in his Cart in Hounslow, and upon this
Informant attempting to lay hold of his Harre's Bridle, he
galloped away through Themselves Town- and this Informant
further says that the whole of the sugar Sulphur & Tobacco
now produced was feloniously stolen out of his Waggon that
might. And the said Joseph Olton< no role > says that he was returning
with a Post Chaire to Hennslow this Might and when he came
apposite Huggins's House, he saw a Cart overturned and
said Frime by it That Huggins and his Man helped said
Frime up with his Cart, at which time, two leaves of Sugar
lay by it. That Informant asked said Frime where the
was going to that time of Night, who replied "To Mr. Hanks's
at Hillingdon " That this Informant went on and met said
aldridge who complained that his Waggon had been robbed
