Middlesex to wit


the Information of Robert Earle< no role > Daniel Gills< no role >
and Charles Jealens< no role > taken before me this 22nd.
day of October 1783.

Who on their Oath say and first the said Robert Earle< no role > that
last Evening he packed up a Quantity of Haberdashery Goods in
the Box now produced and sent the said Daniel Gills< no role > with it
to the George and Blue Bear in Melborn, in order to go by
the Kethring Coach< no role > to. Wm. John Kenneth at Kettering and
further says that the Haberdashery Goods now produced are
the same Goods which he so packed up. And the said
Daniel Gill< no role > says that he carried said Box to the Gateway of
the George and Blue Bear Inn, between 8 & 9 oClock, where he saw
a man whom this Informant asked where the Book Keeper
was. who replied that "He was gone Home". That said Man
abserved "He would shew this Informant where the Book keeper
lived" and accordingly took him to a Street marly opposite the
George and Blue Bear, where a tall thin Man stood in a brown
boat, whom the former Man said "War the Book Keeper", and
to whom this Informant delivered said Box- And this Informant
further says he doth veriy believe that a Parson now present
who calls himself William Hatchman< no role > is the first mentined
Man who stood at the Gateway of the George and Blue Bear,
and that took this Informant to the other who pretended take
the Book Keeper. And the said Charles fealens says that last
Night about 9 o'Clock he met the said William Hatchman< no role > in company
with one Robt Beard< no role > , near Grays Inn Gate in Holborn, at which time
the said Hatchman had under his Arm the Box and it Contents
now produced and who then said that He had first received it from
another Man"
