Who being upon Oath says and first the said Thomas
Jackson< no role >
says that a white Cotton Counterpane now produced is his
Masters Property and was put this Morning by said Thomas Aslen< no role >
upon a Field Bedstead in his Masters two pair of Stairs back Room
That several persons were in his said Masters House looking at
Goods for Sale particularly two Persons now present who call
themselves George Bage< no role >
and Jane Brown< no role >
That he Watched
them on their coming into the Room and perceived said George
Bage< no role >
fold up the said Counterpaul and put it in a small
Compass and go outThat said Jane Brown< no role >
then came in
and took said Counterpane up and endeavoured to conceal
the same under [..] her Petticoats and went down Stairs
with itThat he pursued her into the Street brought her back again and
when she came into the House he charged her with Stealing
said Counterpane and soon after (whilst thy were discoursing)
it fell from under her Cloaths
