The Information of Jeremiah Flack< no role >
Taken the 3rd. day of April 1783

Who open his Oath Saith That he is One of the,
Patroles for the parish of Saint Giles in the fields That about
the hour of ½ after 12. oClock this Morning he saw Sarah
Carr
< no role > at a publick House in Cross Lane Shewing
Morning Ring to an Old Woman who was then in the
House but not having any Suspicion of the said Ring
being Stolen at that time he went awayThat about
2 o'Clock the Lane Morning he was informed That
a person had been Robbed of a Morning Ring and other
Things and Suppecting from the above Circumstance
the said Sarah Carr< no role > to be Concerned in such Robbery
He this informant took her into Custody and upon
Searching her he found the Ring now produced concealed
in the Boson of the said Sarah Carr< no role > That at the
time he so took her into his Custody she denied
having the Ring about her
