The Information of Mrs. Thomas Robinson< no role >
of Bridge Street Westminster Linen Drapers
and Robert Clerks of the Broad Santuary
Westminster Pawnbroker and Joseph Niblow< no role >
of Tothill Street Westminster Constable
taken upon Oath before me this 28th. day of
March 1783

First the said Thomas Robinson< no role > for himself saith
that on Wednesday the 26th. day of March 1783 this Deponent
Standing at his Master Mrs. Gwynne's door the Prisoner
Sarah Leech< no role > Came to him and Asked him this deponent, and
asked form to Shew her some fine Spotted an Sprigged Muslin
this deponent went into the Shop and shewed her some spriged
and Spotted Muslin, she the Prisoner bought a Quarter of Yard
of Spriged Muslin for which she paid four Shillings and Six pence
and Went away, this deponent looking over the different Muslins
he had Shewed the prisoners, Mised a Quantity of Spriged
Muslin Containing three Yards and half, this deponent
Suspected the Prisoner Sarah Leech< no role > to have Stolen the said Muslin
and took her into Custody the next day in Parliament Street
Went for a Constable took here before Mrs. Justice Hyde who
Granted a Search Warrant, on the Constable Searching the
Prisoners Lodgings found a Piece of Muslin now Produced this deponent
believes to be his Masters Mrs. Gwynne's Property that was
Stole the day before
