on his Oath saith That he yesterday drave
a Hackney Coach for Mr. Smith a Hackney-
Man in George Yard
Hatton Street in the Parish
of St. Andrew
Holborn, That above half hour
after One oClock he was driving his Coach,
with a Gentleman
in it, out of St. James's
Street into Bennet Street
in the Parish of
St. George

, Says that James

the Deced was then driving a Cart
drawn by three Horses and loaded with Coals
into Bennet Street before this Dept., in the Center
of the Street, Says that Earl Vernay's
Coachman
was their Driving his Lordship
in a Chariot in Bennet Street towards
the Deced's Cart, That the Chariot was on the
[..] wrong side of the Street, and the Coachman
driving the Horses on a Brisk Trot, Says
that hecalledHallowed to the Coachman, why he did
not keep on the rightHandside of the Way, Says that
he [..] fied and immediately the Shoulder of the Near Horse
in the Chariot forced the Deced to the Ground
just before the Near wheel of his deaded Cart,
which instantly passed over the Deced's
Belly, and broke his Right Arm, Says that
the Deced was so much hurt that he could
not move himself,andnor speak, Says that
he is not sure that there was room for the
Coachman to drive on the right side of the-
