the Voluntary examination of Martha [..]
who on her oath, saith, that about; a twelve [..]
this robbery, she had lent to the said Sarah Wright< no role > , [..]
of thirty Shillings to help her in the time of her distress,
that in the course of the year she had frequently asked, her
for the return of the money, but she allways, pleaded
poverty, and said she would pay her when it was in her
power, but upon asking her several times afterwards for
the said money she totally denied oweing her any thing,
and then this examinant thought she should never get
the money, but on the 27th of Decemr. Last being the day
after the robbery was committed, about twelve OClock
she the said Sarah Wright< no role > , went to this examinant and
paid her the thirty Shillings in the following manner
one Guinea on Gold changed another Guinea and gave her
eight Shillings in Silver and twelve pennyworth of half
pence and this examinant saith, that she saw her
have in her hand several pieces of Gold and also several large
pieces of Silver, which much suprized this examinant
to see so much money in her possesion,
