The Information of James Davis< no role > of Hale in the
parish of Hendon Labourer taken before me this
13th.. day of February 1781

Who being upon Oath Says, that about a Quarter past
Six o Clock in the Evening of a Saturday, about four of five Weeks ago
as he was sitting in his Cart, at the bottom of North end Hill near
Hampstead he was stopped by two footpads, who robbed him of
a yellow purse containing four pence in Money-Says that he
is very sure that a person now present who calls himself
Ebenez a Harcup< no role > is one of the Footpads that so robbed him
as aforesaid
