Middlesex to Wit


The Information of Isaac Salisbury< no role > and Mary Taylor< no role >
taken before me this 31st day of January 1781

Who being upon Oath say and first the said Isaac Salisbury< no role >
says that a person now present who Calls himself William Crawford< no role >
was employed by him to Shave and Dress Mr. Jonathan Lawton< no role >
in the house of Joseph Malkin< no role > of Kirby Street Hatton Garden
and that on Friday the 15th day of December last he sent him to
dress the said Mr. Lawton-The said Mary Taylor< no role > says that
she is Servant to the said Joseph Malkin< no role > and that said Crawford
came about ¼ part of 7 on Saturday morning the16th. day of
December last to dress the said Mr. Lawton-That he staid
some time is the Kitchen and then told this Informant to
go up to Mr. Lawton and Acquaint him that he was
there-Says that before she went out of the said Kitchen to the
said Mr. Lawton she is very sure She saw four Silver Table
Spoon three of them belonging to her said Master and one the property of Mr. Allen lying on the Kitchen Shelf
and that when she came down(after having delivered the Message)
the said Crawford was gone, and the said Spoon Stolen, from
which she is very sure, that the said Crowford is the person
that feloniously Stole the same
