County of Middlesex the 9th. day of November 1775 the said Thomas
Jones< no role > being charged on oath before me by John Hide< no role > with felonious Stealing
f [..] ive Iron Barrs from the work house of St. Andrew Houlbourn in the
Liberty of Saffron Hill And upon the oath oflast Night upon his Examination
before me Confesseth that he together with Richard Kitcherman< no role >
Stole the said f [..] ive Iron Barrs from the said Workhouse last Night
And Likewise Stole a Peice of Lead Pipe and a brass Cock out of
the Yard of a house in Town [..]
Barrs from houses in the said Tash Street in the Parish of St. Andrew
Houlbourn and that Richard Kitcher< no role > man Sold the said Lead Pipe
and Brass. [..] nd the said three Iron Barrs of Robert Bates< no role >
next door to the Turks head Ale house in Turnmil Street on the
Parish of St. John Clerkenwell and that her received of the said
Richard Kitcherman< no role > Nine pence as his Share for the said Lead
Pipe Brass Cock and three Iron Barrs stolen out of Tash Street And
further saith that the f [..] ive Iron Barrs Stolen from the work house
was Sold unto Richard Mealing< no role > in Turnmill Street by them for the
Sum of Two Shillings But that they had not [..] wed the Two
Shillings of Richard Mealing< no role > they being taken in to Custody at that
time. further saith that he and the said Richard Kitcherman< no role >
Stole a peice of Lead Pipe and brass Cock out of the Yard of a House
in Bistops. Court in Alesbury Street in the Parish of St. John Cler
kenwell at that he reced four pence as his Share for the same
And futher is that Harry Tool who is not yet taken was
Concerned with than in all the above Robberies
