Who being upon Oath say and first the said Thomas Knight< no role >
for himself says that on the 24th or 25th. of May last a Bank Post
Bill for twenty five pounds now produced was stolen from him
at the Greyhound Inn in Southwark
and that the said Bank Post
Bill at that Time was not indorsed with the Name John Peaskead< no role >
as it now appears to be; and the said John Peaskead< no role >
for himself
says that he received the above mentioned Bank Post Bill by
the Post from Mr. Mott in May last but never wrote the Indorsement
thereon which is now wrote on the Same and that he hath
since been informed by his Wife and verily believes that his
Wife paid the same Bank Post Bill to the said Thomas Knight< no role >
