Who being upon Oath say and first the said John Talbott< no role >
for himself
says that on or about the 29th. day of September last William Sherwood< no role >
now present published to him at his house in the Minories
in the City of
London
as true a certain promissory Note for Payment of Money now
produced purporting to be the Promissory Note of Willm. Sherwood
Joseph Ganthony< no role >
and John Saunders< no role >
for the Payment of thirty pounds
to John Talbott< no role >
or Order Four Months after date and dated London
29 Sepr. 1774 and the said Joseph Ganthony< no role >
for himself says
that he did not sign the said Promissory Note but that the Name
Joseph Ganthony< no role >
signed thereto is falsely made forged and counterfeited
And the said John Talbott< no role >
further says that he does verily
believe the said William Sherwood< no role >
published the said promissory
Note to him as true knowing the same to be falsely made forged
and counterfeited with Intention to defraud him the said
John Talbott< no role >
