The Information of James Brown< no role > taken
on Oath before me one of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middx the 21st
day of July 1774

Who on his Oath saith that last Night between the hours of
ten and Eleven o Clock he heard some Person knook at his Door
twice that he asked who was there when he received for
answer one when this Informt. said that he was going to
Bed that he should not open his doors any more to Night
that his door was then Bursted open when one Thomas
Ivers
< no role > came into his Room and made towards a Table
where there was some Money on it and a hankerchief
that the said Thomas Ivers< no role > took away the hankerchief
Saith that his Wife called out to him and said she was
Robb'd Saith that the said Thomas Ivers< no role > then drew a knife
and Swore that if any of them touched him he would
run them through saith that he went to take hold
of him when he run away Saith that his Wife run
after him and called the Watch by which Means he
was taken
