Said Bill so falsely Accepted to this Informant with
an Intent to defraud him of the said Sum of the thirty five,
Pounds. this Informt. went several times after the
sd. Bill was so Accepted to the sd. House at No 2 in Ayliff
Street Goodmans Fields . but always received for [..]
that the sd Jos.. Harris was not at home And this
Informant further saith that he upon his oath
verily believes that the person now present & who
calls himself Samuel Noah< no role > is the Person who
Accepted the Said Bill of Exchange & Uttered the
Same in the Name of the Said Joseph Harris< no role >
And this Informant Samuel Porter< no role > for himself
Saith that Yesterday Noon about the Middle London Bridge
her & the other Informant overtook the abovemd
Henry do Vriele & the other Informant told him
that he had not got Cash for his Bills (meaning the Bill
of Exchange which was given to the Said Zachariah
& the Said Charles Stewart< no role > as abovementd.) upon
Zachariah Birds< no role > telling the Said Henry do Vries
that Samuel Noah< no role > had not Accepted them in
his own Namethathe was pressed a Surprige
Saying that he saw him accept them in his
own Room & that if he had accepted them in
a false Name he would be hanged
And this Informant Charles Stewart< no role > for
himself Saith that he was present at the
Same time & in the Same Place when the
Said Samuel Noah< no role > Wrote the Acceptance
upon the Bill of Exchange to Zachariah Bird< no role > ,
for the Sum of thirty five pounds in the Names
of Jos. Harris
