Who being upon Oath say that last Night about 8 o'Clock they were going
together through Hyde Park
from Hyde Park Corner
towards Grosvenor Gate< no role >
and the said William Salmon< no role >
for himself for himself says that a little
before they came to the Bason in Hyde Park
they were stopped by two
Soldiers who demanded their money, that he this Informant at that times
observed the said Soldiers had on the Regimentals of the third Regiment
of Foot Guards and that one of them had dark coloured Stockings on
and the other light coloured Stockings, says that one of the said Soldiers
robbed him this Informant of one Shilling, says that after the said Robbery
their Informants went on to Grosvenor Gate, that he this Informant
left the said Elizabeth Tooth< no role >
in Brook Street and ran down Park Lane
and to Hyde Park Corner
, that when this Informant came to Hyde
Park Corner
two Soldiers new present who call themselves William
Ward< no role >
and John Randall< no role >
were coming out of Hyde Park
and went into
the Alehouse known by the Sign of the Golden Lion
one of them pulling
the other in at which place this Informant caused them to be secured
and this Informant further says that he is very sure the said William
Ward< no role >
and John Randall< no role >
are the Same two persons that robbed him
as aforesaid; and the said Elizabeth Tooth< no role >
for herself says that
she was also robbed at the Time and place beforementioned of [..]
Shillingsabout two Shillings in Silver and some half pence and that
she does verily believe the said John Randall< no role >
and William Ward< no role >
are
the present that robbed her of the said Money
