the Deceased by SightThat last Tuesday between Two and
three in the Afternoon Informant was standing at his Door
and he saw the Deceased run from Hog Lane towards
White Lyon Yard That there were a vast Number of
People after him chiefly consisting of Women and Boys
That at the Corner of the Yard the Deceased fell down
Close up by Informants HouseThat Informant went
up to him and took hold of him gently And Desired him to Move
least Informants Windows should be Broke
That the Deceased Desired Informant would Procure him a
face Passage And the Liberty he was Entitled to by his
Country And told Informant he would make him Restitution
for any Loss he might SustainThat then Informant
Desired of the People to Let him goThat soon after that
Two Boys Chimney Sweepers came and took hold of his Two
Legs and Drew him further into the Street And then
a Drayman came and Damned him and Whipped him
very severelyThat he gave him a vast number of
Strokes so that Informant thinks he could bear it no
longer And he got up and Attempted to run away
But the Mob turnd' him down towards Wheeler Street
and Cryed out Hare Street And then the Deceased fell
down again near Informants Back Door in White
Lyon Yard That whilst he was lying there the
Person (Informant thinks the same as Whipd' him before)
Whipd' him again And the People threw one Another
down upon him and Trampled upon him And thro' that
And the Whipping together he tryed to get away And went
down White Lyon Yard towards Wheeler Street
