The Information of Samuel Moreton< no role >
and James Bursell< no role > taken before
me this 10th. day of May 1771

Who being on Oath Say and first the Said Saml. Moreton< no role >
for himself says that on Tuesday Evening the 31st. of April
last two Bank Notes of the Value of twenty pounds each
were stole from him, that the has Cause to suspect that
two persons now present who call themselves Joseph Hawkins< no role >
and William Kenny< no role > stole the Same they being in his
Company at the Time they were taken, that the
twenty pounds Bank Note now produced by James
Bursell
< no role > is one of the said Bank Notes that were stolen
from him as aforesaid, and the said James Burrell< no role >
for himself says that on the first day of May Instant in
the Morning he gave Cash for the Said Note now produced by
him to the said William Kenny< no role >
