The Information of Thomas Gore< no role > taken
before me this 16th. day of October 1771

Who being upon Oath says that on the Saturday in the Barnet Rare
Week he was robbed between 7 & 8 in the Evening upon Finchley
Common of some Money by a single Highwayman , and further
says that a person now present who (calls himself Samuel Gasfield< no role > as he does verily believe is the person
who robbed him as aforesaid, and that he has seen a bay horse which
he has been credibly informed has been for some time past in the
Custody of the said Samuel Gasfield< no role > and that he does verily believe
the said horse is the Same which was then rode by the said Highway man
