The Information of Samuel Shippard< no role >
of Buckle Street Whitechaple in the County
of Middlesex Butcher taken before me
this 24th. Day of January 1769

Who being upon his Oath Saith That about Nine
o Clock this Morning He was in the House of James
Brabrooks< no role > at the Hall Moon, & punch Bowl Buckels Street
White Chappel in the County of Middlesex , and a
Person now Present Came into the said House
who Calls himself Joseph Ward< no role > , and Produced one
Long Table Cloath, Marked with a Crown No. 1766:16
and One Long Table Cloath Mark'dNo. 1765:12
both wellOne Rapper Mark'd £:9, which said
linnen the said James Brabrooks< no role > Stopt, on Suspicion
of his having Stole them the said Joseph Ward< no role > told
the said James Brabrooks< no role > , that they be longed to me
Mrs. Griggs Lordships Yard Chelsea this Informant
further saith that the said Joseph Ward< no role > . desired him
after he had him [..] in Custody to take him to his Hunt
one Mrs. Mary Dowell< no role > Kings street Golden Square for
that she Knew the Person that he had the said Linnen
of at Chelsea when they Came to the said Mary Dowell< no role >
she told him that he had robed Her of Several things
and the she Know'd Nothing About the things that
he had in his Possesionand this Informant further
Saith that the said Joseph Ward< no role > desired he would
Let him go. for that he was sure he would be hanged
