The Information of

in the County of Middlesex
Gentleman
Taken before me one of his Majestys Justices of
the Peace
for the said County City and Liberty
Who being upon his Oath, Saith, That in the Evening
about Seven of the Clock of Wednesday the Twenty first
of this Instant December, He was feloniously Stopped
in a field near the Kings highway near a Bridge, which
this Informant believes is Called Battle Bridge
, at which
place he was put in great Carporal feare by two men,
One of whose Person, Only he recolects, and who is now
two men Stopped him as Aforesaid, and one of them
putting a Pistol towards his Breast, whilst Edward

Catched him by the Cellar and demanded
his Money. which this Informant not giving, the
said two men took from him, One Pompadour Colour'd
Rough Great Coat, One Snuf Box, One Linnen
Hand Kerchief, and Two BooksAll which things
are this Informants property.
