before me this 12th. day of Decr. 1768
Who being upon Oath says that on last Night he had two Bureaus
broke open in his house and from thence feloniously Stolen taken and
carried away Ten Guineas in Money and upwards of 13 Bills of
Exchange and Promisory Notes of hand to a considerable amount
says he suspects and verily believes the John Clarke< no role >
who was formerly
an Apprentice
to him and late his Journeyman feloniously took
and carried away the said Cash Bills and Notes because he hath
recd. certain Information of the said Clarke's getting into his house at a
Window yesterday in the absence of the Family, because he hath absconded
suddenly upon the occasion and for other reasons and father says that he
hath been Informed and verily believes that Mr. James Wilson< no role >
a Lodges in his
House had Stolen at the same time two Bank Notes of £50 each and
£500 in Cash and upwards of which said Cast mentioned Felony he this
Informant also suspects and believes the said John Clarke< no role >
to be Guilty
