Who being upon Oath says that he hath cause to suspect that
Mr. James Gibson< no role >
has feloniously Forged and Counterfeiled an
Office Copyof the Accountfrom the Report office purporting to be
the Copy of a Certificate. Signed by the Accomptant General for the
Sum of four hundred sixty seven pounds Eleven Shillings, for
that he has received a Letter from Mr. William Hunt< no role >
the Receiver
in
a Cause in the Court of Chancery
in which he this Informent
is Solicitor
, and which Letter he believes to be in the handwriting
of the said Hunt informing him that he had remitted the aforesd.
Sum of four hundred and sixty seven pounds Eleven Shillings
to the aforesaid Gibson, and that he had recd. from him an
Office Copy of a Certificate for that Sum purporting to be a Copy
of the Accomptant General's Certificates, and that also on
enquiry at the Accomptant Generals Office he found that no such
Certificate had passed for such Sum of Money
