The Information of Richd. Jones< no role > & Wm. Green< no role > taken
before me one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the said County.

Who being severally on Oath say and first this Inf. Richd.
Jones< no role > for himself Saith that in the Night of the fourth
Instant this Inf had stole from him, Two horses and this
Inft. having notice from the other Ins. that he had stopt
a Horse this Ins came up to town from Wyardsbury in the
County of Bucks to Bethnal Green in the County of
Middx afsd. And this Ins saith that the horse shewed to
this Inf by the said Green in one of the horses Stolen
from this Inf as assd. and by the Information of the sd.
Green this Inf. found his other horse at Dartford in
the County of Kent and this Ins William Green< no role > for
himself saith That on the 10th. Instant this Ins. being
at Hackney a person now present who calls himself
Peter Hopgood< no role > offered to Sale the first of the sd houses
which the Inf agreed to pay 5 Gs. for but the sd Hopgood
not being able to produce proper Vouchers and not given
a good account how he came by the sd horse this
Inf. stopt both him and the horse And the sd Hopgood after
being some time in Custody did Confess th [..] he had taken
the said house & another out of a Farm Yard about 2
Miles from Stainds & that he had left one of the said
horses at Dart ford assd. fo rthe Sum of 8 Shillings
of which particular this Inst told the sd. Ins Jones
