The free and voluntary Examination
Informations and Confessions of John Casey< no role >
Mariner , taken before me one of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex , this 13th day of
February 1759

Who upon his Oath sayth, that he being well
acquainted with Samuel Price< no role > otherwise Murray < no role >
was by him inticed to commit several Felonies ford
Robberies with him and one Johnny Armstrong
within this Month last past, and are as follows,
Viz. That he this Examinant and the above Johnny
Armstrong, feloniously stole as Red Plush Waistes at
from as Shop the Upon End of Rosemary Lane , that
one [..] Cook sold it for them for Five Shillings
and gave them the Money. That he the said
Johnny Armstrong< no role > and this Examinant from a
Shop near the Hermitage Bridge did feloniously
steal a quantity of Tickens a Seaman's Jackets, &
Three Pair of Women's Stockings, that they gave
the Stockings and the Tickens tothe aboveMary
Mallings and the above Elizabeth [..]
C [..]
that the said Elizabeth [..] Cooke< no role >
pawned the said Seaman's Jacket for half & Crown and
gave them the Money; And next that he this said
Examinant and the said Armstrong also stole,
from a Slop Shop in Tooley Street Southwark , Six
Silk and Cotton Handkerchiefs, that they presented the
said Mary Mullings< no role > and [..] [..] beth
with one a Price, and sold the other Four and shared [..]
the Money, that the said Mary Mullings and [..]
[..] received the said Handkercheifs
Tickens and Stockings well knowing them to be
feloniously stolen. And that he this Examinant
and the above Samuel Price< no role > otherwise Murray stole
