The Information of Sarah Wedgborough< no role >
taken before us two of His Majesty's Justices
for the Sd: County.

Who being upon Oath says, that she is Servant to Mr
Reynolds who lodges in an house belonging to the Late
Dorothy Cannicot< no role > that on Saturday the 17 Instant
she was Walking with the Said Dorothy in Fox Coa [..]
Southampton Row when and where the husband of the
Sd: Dorothy met them, that this Informant went home
and left them together, and in about an hour
afterwards the Sd: Dorothy came home, and told
this Informant, that she had asked her Husband
for some money which she had Wrote to him
for a friday, and that her Husband told her that
if she would come to Lord Darnlys a tuesday at
Eight o'Clock she should know what he would
do for her. And this Informant says that
on Tuesday Evening last about the five or Six
o'Clock a Boy knocked at the Sd: Dorothy's door
andthis Informasked if Mrs Cannicot lived there
and this Informant asked the Sd: Boy what he
wanted with the Sd: Dorothy, and the Boy told her
that a Gentleman in a Gold Laced that a middle
Sized man wanted her in the Fields, and this Informt:
[..] Openly the Door of a Chamber she saw the Sd: Dorothy and told
her that a Boy, as she supposed come from her
husband, wanted her, and the Sd: Dorothy [..] went
down & let the Boy in, who stayed till the sd:
Dorothy dressed herself, and as she came down
this Informant saw her, dressed in a Purple & White
Linnen Gown & a Green Silk hat: and this Informt.
says that she never saw the deceased a four her departure
until she saw her dead at the house of Mr Taylor.
