AN INQUISITION indented, taken for our Sovereign LORD the KING, at the Sign of the
Crown & Anchor in Paul Street Shoreditch in the County of
Middlesex , the 13th. Day of June in the 42d Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign LORD GEORGE the Third , by the Grace of GOD of the United Kingdom
of Great-Britain and Ireland King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before Edward
Walter one of the CORONERS of our said LORD the KING for the said County,
on View of the Body of John Wise< no role > then and there lying dead,
upon the Oath of the several Persons whose Names are hereunder-written and Seals affixed,
good and lawful Men of the said County, duly chosen, and who being then and there duly sworn
and charged to inquire, for our said LORD the KING, when, how, and by what Means, the said
John Wise< no role > came to his Death, do, upon
their Oath, say, That the said John Wise< no role > on the [..]

[..] on the Tenth day of June
instant the deceased who was Drayman whilst driving his Dray in little
East Cheap a certain other Dray the Property and belonging to some other
Persons to the Jurors unknown runing against the Draw the said John Wise< no role > was
driving and it so happened that he the said John Wise< no role > was Pressed against a Pillar
there by which he received a Mortal bruise of which Mortal he died whilst carrying to the Hospital
And the Jurors say the same happened Accidentally and not otherwise

IN WITNESS whereof, as well the said CORONER asthe said
the Foreman of the said Jurors, and the Rest of his said Fellows, have, to this Inquisition set
their Hands and Seals, the Day, Year, and Place first above-written.
