An Inquisition intended taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at The Parish of Saint Andrew
Holborn in the County of Middlesex , the Twelfth Day of Feby in the 23d Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the third , by the Grace of God of Great Britain, France and Ireland, KING, Defender of
the Faith, Etc. before Edward Umfreville one of the Coroner of Our said Lord
the KING, for the said County, on view of the body of Sarah Pritchard< no role >
then and there lying dead, upon the Oath of Robert Needham< no role >

good and lawful Men of the said County duly chosen as by Law required, and who being then and there duly sworn
and charged to enquire for our said Lord the KING, when, how, and by what means the said Sarah Pritchard< no role >
came to h er Death, Do upon their Oath say, That the said Sarah
Pritchard not being of sound Mind Memory and Understanding But Lunatic
and distracted on the Eleventh Day of February in the Year aforesaid
One End of a small Cord to a Hook or Nail on the Lodging Room or
Apartment of her Husband Pritchard on Saffron Hill in the Parish
and County aforesaid and the other End thereof about her own Neck did fix
tye and fasten and therewith did then and there hang suffocate and strangle
herself Of which said Hanging Suffocation and Stangling she the said
Sarah Pritchard< no role > then and there died And so the Jurors aforesaid upon
their Oath aforesaid Do say That the said Sarah Pritchard< no role > not
being of sound Mind Memory and Understanding but Lunatic and
distracted in Manner and by the Means aforesaid did kill herself

In Witness whereof, as well the said Coroner, as the said Robert Needham< no role > the Foreman of
the said Jurors on behalf of himself and the rest of his Fellows, in their presence, have to this Inquisition set their
Hands and Seals the Day and Year first abovementioned
