An Inquisition indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at The Parish of Saint Mary
Islington in the County of Middlesex , the Tenth Day of Decr in the 23d Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the third , by the Grace of God of Great Britain, France and Ireland, KING, Defender of
the Faith, Etc. before Edward Umfreville< no role > one of the Coroner s of Our said Lord
the KING, for the said County, on view of the body of Susannah Cart< no role >
then and there lying dead, upon the oath of John Leo< no role > , Donald Mc Donald< no role >
John Richards< no role > John Falkner< no role > , Daniel Townsend< no role > , John Spraggs< no role > , Thomas Williams< no role >
John Webb< no role > , Richard Hucks< no role > , Benjamin High< no role > , William Everett< no role > , Edward
How and John Richardson< no role >
good and lawful Men of the said County duly chosen as by Law required, and who being then and there duly sworn
and charged to enquire for our said Lord the KING, when, how, and by what means the said Susannah Cart< no role >
came to h er Death, Do upon their Oath say, That the said Susannah Cart< no role >
on the Sixth Day of December in the Year aforesaid was found drowned and
suffocated in a Pond of Water in the Parish and County aforesaid That the said
Susannah Cart< no role > had not any Marks of Violence appearing about her And
how or by what means she became drowned and suffocated no Evidence doth appear
to the said Jurors

In Witness whereof, as well as the said Coroner, as the said John Leo< no role > the Foreman of
the said Jurors on behalf of himself and the rest of his Fellows, in their presence, have to this Inquisition set their
Hands and Seals the Day and Year first abovementioned
