An Inquisition indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at The Parish of [..]
in the County of Middlesex , the Twenty sixth Day of Oct [..] 23d. Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the third , by the Grace of God of Great Britain, France and Ireland, KING, Defender of
the Faith, Etc. before Edward Umfreville< no role > one of the Coroner s of Our said Lord
the KING, for the said County, on view of the body of John Baker< no role >
then and there lying dead, upon the oath of Richard Drabwell Joseph< no role > This name instance is in set 18620.

good and lawful Men of the said County duly chosen as by Law required, and who being then and there duly sworn
and charged to enquire for our said Lord the KING, when, how, and by what means the said John Baker< no role >
came to h is Death, Do upon their Oath say, That the said John Baker< no role > on the Eighteenth
Day of October in the Twenty second Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord< no role > King George the third being the Driver of the
Farnham Waggon Which was then Passing along the Kings Highway in the Parish and County aforesaid
It so happened That the Horse on which he the said John Baker< no role > then and there rode suddenly took Fright
and threw the said John Baker< no role > under the near Wheels of the said Waggon By Means whereof he the said John
Baker then and there accidentally, casually and by misfortune received divers Mortal Bruises
of which said Mortal Bruises he the said John Baker< no role > died and so the Jurors aforesaid upon
their Oath aforesaid Do say That the said John Baker< no role > in manner and by the means aforesaid
accidentally, casually and by misfortune Came to his Death And That the said Two near
wheels of the said Waggon were the Cause of the Death of the said John Baker< no role > and are of the
value of One Shilling and the Property and in the Possession of George West< no role > or of his Assigns

In Witness whereof, as well as the said Coroner, as the said Richard Drabwell< no role > This name instance is in set 18620. the Foreman of
the said Jurors on behalf of himself and the rest of his Fellows, in their presence, have to this Inquisition set their
Hands and Seals the Day and Year first abovementioned
