LondonDeposition of a Witness taken at London that is
to say, at the parish of Saint Bridget otherwise Bride
in the Ward of Farringdon without in London aforesaid
this 5th. day of July 1799 on view of the body of
George Worford< no role > now here lying Dead.

Thomas Pountain< no role > a Prisoner for Debt in the Fleet Prison maketh Oath
that he hath known the deced George Worford about seven weeks that
he was a Prisoner for Debt in the said prison and was chummed in the
same Room with Deponent-during which time he has been ill of the
Dropsy and of which disorder he has had on him as Dept. understood
these six Months past-That the deced has during the time he has
been in the same Room with Dept. continued to decline and get worse
daily and for this last Week past has kept to his Bed and got much
worse until a little before five Yesterday Morning when he departed
this Life that the deceds wife and Dept. has attended and a pistol
him during his illness-That he was attended during his illness part
of the time by a Doctor Stable of Saffron hill and forthea few days
before his Death by a Doctor Pedigrew of fleet Street .
