London maketh Oath that he
hath known the deced about six Months-that he was a Watchmen
to Mr. Pearson of Rutland place wharf-That about six oClock
on Tuesday Evening last he saw the deced going from Rutland Place
Wharf
to some Craft lying there that he went, [..] over three or four Craft
& called to a Lighterman that appeared to be coming there-that
soon after the deced appeared to be [..] returning towards the wharf Dept. heard
something fall into the Water and heard the deced call out [..]
to Dept. Mr Griffiths Mr. Griffiths-Dept. went to the Barge
lying next the Wharf and saw the deced in the Water-Dept. put
an par towards him that he appeared to be struggling in the water
but incapable of taking hold of the Bar that he immediately sunk
under the water-That another person was near Dept. at the time
Dept then made an alarm-Dept. understood he was taken out of the water
