Deposition of a Witness taken at London
that is to say, at the [..] Precinct of Bridewell
Hospital in the Ward of Farringdon without
in London aforesaid this 27th day of January
1795 on view of the Body of Hesther Tarbut
now here Lying Dead

Mary < no role > Wife of William Randle< no role > of Bridewell Hospital London
maketh Oath that the deced Hester Tarbut came to Bridewell
Hospital on [..] Tuesday Last the 20th. instt. by Virtue of Warrant
of Commitment under the hand & seal of Thomas Harley< no role > Esqr one
of the Aldermen of the City of London being committed by
him as a Rogue & Vagabond to be kept to hard Lobour inthe
Home of Correction of Bridewell Hospital aforesaid for seven
Days & then to be removed to the Setting Aldermen's Room
Guildhall to be passed to her last legal Settlement or otherwise
to be dealt with according to Law that she sayed she had an
Arthmatic Complaint & also a Veneral Complaint on her-that the
appeared very ill and hardly capable of walking-that she still
continued very ill and the next day took to her Bed-that she
hardly ever got out of her Bed afterwards that she continued
very ill and got worse daily until Saturday Evening last
when she departed this Life-that she was attended by
the Surgeon and Apothecary of the Hospital during her
illness & had every care taken of her the situation of the
place would admit and Dept. believes the aforesaid
disorders to have occasioned the deceds Death.
