Depositions of a Witness [..] taken at the
Parish of Saint John within the Borough
of Southwark in the County of Surrey
this 3d. day of January 1795 on view of

now here lying Dead

Mary Jarvis< no role > a Servant to Joseph Fogg< no role > of Gainsford Street
in the Parish of Saint John within the Borough of Southwark
Cooper maketh Oath thatabout menbetween eight & nine
this Morning Dept. being called to by her Master went into
the Garret where her young Master usually sleptthat her
[..] Mistress [..] was in a sitting
posture upon the Bed [..] partly dressedher Master holding her
by her Shoulders in order to support her & preventing her
from Fallingthat she was quite insensibleDept. saw a
piece of Cord hanging from the Iron [..] Curtain Rod at the
foot of the Bedsteada Doctor came soon after Dept. went
into the Roomhe examined the deced & sayed she was to
for gonethat some time after Dept. was in the Room
while her Mistress was laid outthat about ten O Clock
last Night Dept. went up Stairs in order to light her Mistress to Bed
public to Warm [..] the Bedthat her Mistress came up
with her Daughterthat the appeared very low and
Melancholy and has been so about four [..] Months.
