Deposition of a Witnesses taken at London
that is to say at the Precinct of Bridewell
Hospital in the Ward of Farringdon without
in London aforesaid the 3d. day of January 1793
on view of the Body of Nicholas Woolverstone< no role >
now here lying dead

Thomas Underhill< no role > Servant to the Porter of Bridewell
Hospital maketh Oath that the deced Nicholas Woolverstone< no role >
was brought to the House of Correction of Bridewell
Hospital aforesaid on the seventeenth day of Decer
last being committed to the House of Correction aforesaid
by virtue of a Warrant of Commitment under the hand of
Process Crosby Esqr one of the Aldermen of the City of London and
one of His Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace for the said City
being charged before him with being a Rogue & Vagabond
to be kept to hard Labour in the House of Correction afsd
for the space of one Month that at the time the deced came
to the House of Correction afd. his [..] left Leg was bad his
right [..] Leg [..] being off that between seven & eight days ago
the deced being taking ill was ordered into the Infirmary
of the House of Correction where she continued to get worse
daily until Wednesday Morning last when he departed
this Life that he was attended by the Surgeon of the
said House of Correction during illness and Dept. believes
the deced had an in Ward Fever on him.
