Southwark

Informations of Witnesses taken at the
parish of Saint George the Martyr within the
Borough of Southwark in the County of Surrey on
Monday the 3d. day of August 1789 On View of
the Body of John Taylor< no role > there lying Dead.

Richard Lester< no role > a Prisoner in His Majestys Common Gaol for
the County of Surrey [..] who being on Oath saith that the deceased who
was also a Prisoner in the said Gaol came into the Sick Ward on Monday last
very ill with a fever that he continued so ill until Yesterday Evening
when he died says he was Regularly Attended by the Apothecary of
the Goal and that he had every Nourishment that was proper for him
says that the fever aforesaid was the Cause of his Death.
