Informations of Witnesses taken at
the parish of Saint Bartholomew the great
in the ward of Farringdon without in
London aforesaid on the 8th. day of December
1788 on view of the Body of Charles Yalding< no role >
now here lying dead

John Wyat< no role > of No. 21 Duke Street in the parish of Saint
Bartholomew the great maketh Oath and saith that on
Wednesday Evening last a between ten and eleven OClock
a Woman came to Depts. house and informed him a Man
in a deplorable state was lying in the Street with in a
few doors of Dept. House and beg Dept to go and look at
him and try and as something for him that Dept. went
and found the deced sitting upwright upon the Step
pavement near of the door of a House close by depts. and one of the Water-
-men speaking to him Dept. and Watchman spoke to
him he seemed very cold and as if he was intoxicated
with Liquor Dept. and said Watchman could get no
answer of any kind from him only that he lived in
Holbornthat Dept. and said Watchman took the deced
to the Watchman of said parish thinking that the
best place to leave him as he appeared so bad that
Dept. left him at said Watchouse

John Jenks< no role > of the Bank Alley Cloth Fair in the
Parish of Saints Bartholomew the great London the maker
maketh Oath and saith that he hath the care of the Watch-
house of the said Parish that the deced was brought
the Watch house about eleven OClock on Wednesday Eveng. last by the said Mr.
Wyatt that he was brought to the corner near the Watch
-house That Dept. helped to get him into the Watch house
the deced being unable to stand himself that Dept.
thought the deced appeared to be intoxicated with Liquor
that he laid the Dept. on the Floor near the Fire that
he asked the deced several Questions but could get no
answer from him that about one OClock in the Morning
of the Thursday following said Wednesday the deced seemed
very restless kicking his Legs about as he lay on the
Floorthat he continued in that state about half an hour
