Informations of Witnesses taken at
the parish of Saint Saviour within the
Borough of Southwark in the County of Surrey
the 26th. day of July 1788 on view of the body
of Thomas Deane< no role > there lying dead.

Joseph Power< no role > of Church Street Southwark dealer in bottles
maketh oath

Joseph Dean< no role > late Servant to the dead maketh oath that
yestyesterday morning he went to the middle left door of his
masters premes & found that the door was bottled within side,
upon which he went down stairs to his Masters Son who returned
with Dept, & Dept draw him by the tackle threw a trap door
of the middle Loft & as soon as he was there he desired Dept to care
neighbour Church & Dept went out & called Mr Paner Mr. Church
being absent Dept was afterwd. sent to plat assistance Dept as
afterwd within an hour told Def the deced bad hanged himself.
