At the General Quarter Session of the Peace holden for
the City of London at the Guild hall within the said City
(by Adjournment) on Wednesday the Thirty first day
of October 1759 and in the thirty third Year of the reign
of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great
Britain Etc Before Sir Richard Glynn< no role > Knt . and Barrt.
Mayor of the City of London Sir William Moreton< no role >
Knt . Recorder of the said City of William Stephenson< no role >
Knt . Robert K. to Esqr Aldermen of the said City and
others their Fellows Justices Assigned to keep the
Peace of our Lord the King within the said City and
also to hear and Determined Divers Fellonies Trespasses
and other Misdeeds Committed within the sd. City.

Upon hearing the Petition and Appeal of Charles Robins< no role >
Setting forth that he became an Inhabitant and Rented a house in
Cullum Street within the Parish of Saint Dionis Backchurch London
at the Rent of Sixty pounds a Year from Michaelmas day 1758
And that about Easter in the Year 1758 before he was an
Inhabitant a Rate or Assessment was made for the Releif and
Maintenance of the Poor of the said Parish and that he the said
Charles Robins< no role > by an Interlineation in the said Rate was
Rated or Assessed for that Year at the Rate of five pounds twelve
Shillings and Eight Pence which is two Shillings and two pence
P Week and that he the said Charles Robins conceived and was
Advised that the said Rate was, Partial Unequal and Unjust
and that he was Aggreived thereby and due Notice having
been given of such Petition and Appeal to the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish Now Upon
Strict Examination of the premes and having heard what
coud be Alledged as well by the said Charles Robin< no role > as by the
said Church Wardens and Oversees of the Poor of the said
Parish And it Appearing to this Court that the said house
abovementioned does Consist of three Small houses [..]
Tenements (to wit) two of them (used as one) in the Possession
of the said Charles Robins< no role > and the other in the Possession of
Hopkins
