WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto us, Two of
his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the said County whereof
and is of the (Quor um) by the Churchwarden & Overseers
of the poor of the sd: Hamlet of Bethnal Green
That Elizabeth Prise< no role > Singlewoman is
lately Come into the Sd: Hamlet, Endeavouring to
settle there contrary to Law, And that She is
likely to be Chargeable to the said Hamlet Wee the
said Justices upon Examination of the Premises [..]
upon Oath do Adjudge
the same to be true, And that the last place of the Legal Settlement
of the said Elizabeth Paris< no role >
is in the Sd: Parish of St: Dionis
Backchurch

THESE are therefore in his Majesties Name
to Command you on fight hereof to remove and convey the said
Elizabeth Paris< no role >
from and out of the said Hamlet of
Bethnal Green to the said Parish of St.
Dionis Backchurch and deliver her to the
Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there or to one of
them who are hereby required to receive and provide for her
according to Law, GIVEN under our Hands and seals the
Eighteenth day of June in the
year of our Lord 17 36 .
