Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us tow of her Majtices:
Justices of the peace of the Said County (Quor nuns) by you the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of St:
Mary Magdalen Bermondsey in the County aforesaid that John
Curd< no role > Aged between Five and Six years was lately brought
into and left in the said parish with an instent to gain a Settlement
for him therein country to Law and that he is likely to become
chargeable to the Said parish And whereas upon Examination
touching the prinsses take upon Oath we the said Justices
do Adjudge theat the said John Curd< no role > is now likely to
become chargeable to the Said Parish and that the Parish
of St: Dionis Backchurch in the City of London is the Place
of his last legal Settlement

These are therefore in her Majtice: name to require for
the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of
the parish of St: Mary Magdalen to remove and Derwey th
said [..] JohnCurd from the said Parish of St: Mary Magdalen
Barmondsey to the said parish of St: Dionis Backchurch
and him to deliver to the Churchwardens and overseers
of the poor there who are hereby required to remaine and
provide for him wording to Law given under our Hands
and Seales the 15th. Day of July Anns Did 1709 .

To the churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
parish of St: Mary magdalen Bormondley in the County
of Surrey and to the Churchwardens and overseers of
the poor of the parish of St: Dionis Backchurch in the
City of London and to every of them
