Whereas it appeareth unto us two of his Majties Justices
of the Pease for the sd County (Quod nuns) upon Complaint
of the Churchwrdens & Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St Thomas Southwark in the County aforesd that Elizabeth
Stone
< no role > Singlewoman lately came into the Sd Parish
endeavouring to Settle herself there without giving notice
in writing according to the Statute in that case made & provide
ed and that she (being with child with Bastard child) is
likely to become chargeable to the Sd parish And Whereas
at appeareth unto us the sd Justices upon the Oath of the said
Elizabeth Stone< no role > that She was left legally Settled in the
Parish of St. Dionis Barkchurch in the Citty of London

These are therefore in his Majesties name to require
You the sd & Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor to remove
& convey the Sd Elizabeth Stone< no role > from & out of the Sd Parish
of St Thomas Southwark in the Sd County of Surrey to the Sd
Parish of St Dionis Backchurch in the Ditty of London & her
to deliver to the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor there
who are hereby required to receive & Provide for her
according to Law: Given under our hands & Seals this third
Day of December Anne Dui 1701 .
