This Indenture made the Twenty fifth Day of February in the Sixteenth Year
of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God, of Great Britain, France, and Ireland,
King Defender of the Faith, Etc [..] Dom. 1742 Witnesseth, That James Tell< no role > and John Cliston< no role >
Church-Wardens of the Parish of St. Dionio Back Church in the City of London and James Spackmer< no role > And John Clarke< no role > [..]
John Walker< no role > Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish, by and with the Consent of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of
Peace of the said City whose Names are hereunto Subscribed, have put, and placed, and by these Presents do put and
places Elizabeth Mayor a poor Child of the said Parish, Apprentice to John Bluetof Romford in the County of
Essex Yeoman with h im to Dwell, and serve from the Day of the Date of these Presents until the shall attain and accomplish
the full Age of One and Twenty Yeard or Day of Marriage
During all which Term, the said Appentice h er said Master faithfully shall serve in all lawful Business, according to h er
Power, Wit and Ability, and honestly, orderly, an obediently, in all Things demean and behave h er self towards h er said
Ma ster and all h is during the said Term. And the said John Bluet doth Covenant and Grant for h im self h is
Executors and Administrators, to and with the said Church-Wardens and Overseers, and every of them, their and every
of their Executors and Administrators, and their and every of their Successors, for the time being by these Presents, that
he the said John Bluet the said Apprentices in the Art and Business he now Eiseth shall tech and Inform or
cause to be taught & informed And shall and will, during all the Term aforesaid, find, provide and allow unto the said Appen-
tice meet competent, and sufficient Meat, Drink, and Apparel, Lodging, Washing, and all other Things, necessary and fit for an
Apprentice . And also, shall and will provide for the said Apprentice, that the be not any way a Charge to the said Parish,
or the Parishioners of the same; but of and from all Charge, shall and will save the said Parish and Parishioners harmless,
and indemnified during the said Term. And at the end of the said Term, shall and will make, provide, allow and deliver unto
the said Apprentice double Apparel of all Sorts, Good and New, that is to say, a good New Suit for the Holy-days, and ano-
ther for the Working-Days. In Witness whereof, the Parties abovesaid to these present Indentures interchangeably, have
put their Hands and Seals, the Day and Year above written.
